My name is Laura McCurdy, and though I was born and raised in a big, busy city, I’ve always been drawn to the colors of nature. As a kid, I spent hours collecting small treasures, spending as much time as I could outside, and noticing how colors naturally blended and balanced in the world around me. That love of color and connection to nature continues to inspire my work today. Jewelry became the perfect fit. I began designing and hand-knotting my own gemstone necklaces, and later earned a degree in gemology to deepen my understanding of the materials I loved working with. My gemstone necklaces combine colors inspired by nature in fresh, unexpected ways.
