About Take Five Aromatherapy Anchors

I fell in love with essential oils during my first pregnancy after learning about aromatherapy at one of my hypnobirthing classes. I would carve out so much time to prioritise relaxation; running long baths, lighting a candle and practicing my breathing techniques while bonding with bump. However after the birth of my first baby, I realised that like many mums, I wasn’t finding time for self care anymore and I knew this needed to change. I also noticed that a lot of the candles on the market were not very healthy for us or our wellbeing, let alone beneficial, so I expanded my knowledge on essential oils and started blending my own aromatherapy candles; designed to promote daily moments of calm and balance by using natural ingredients and therapeutic plant oils. My dream was to encourage other mummy’s to take time for their own wellbeing – anchoring our minds to a place of relaxation and rest during pregnancy, birth, postpartum and long beyond these beautiful years. Since I started pouring aromatherapy candles in 2019, I have been on my own journey through motherhood and every blend I’ve poured along the way has been created with intention from these learnings and journeys, to now be able to support and enhance your daily routines during each stage of your own journeys.Read their story
