About Lyla Tov Monsters

The first Lyla Tov (“Good night” in Hebrew) Monster was created by Lyla Black when she was three years old and decided that what her Daddy really, really needed as a holiday gift was a monster. She drew a picture and asked her Mommy (conveniently, a three time Emmy award winning costume designer for Sesame Street) to get some fabric and help her “make it real”. Now that she’s older, Lyla has made a whole lot of Lyla Tov Monsters to help girls and boys all over the world have a good night’s sleep. With a Lyla Tov Monster in your life, you will never have to worry about “scary” monsters hiding under your bed! A single snuggle from your Lyla Tov Monster can ward off the most frightening of dreams and make you feel safe and snuggly in your own bed. Each Lyla Tov Monster is special - some wear shirts or skirts, some have bows, some have horns. Based on Monsters created by Lyla and her family in New York City, no two lines of Monsters look quite the same.
