Rebecca Anne Maclean is an abstract artist based on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. Originally hailing from the Orkney Islands in the North of Scotland, Rebecca's inspirations stem from many sources including energy, movement, emotion, and the beauty of nature. Known for her use of black and neutral colours, Rebecca enjoys collecting new and unique tools to use on the canvas and primarily works on raw, unprimed cotton canvas with a distinct focus on expressive marks and unapologetic abstractions. Her works have been featured in curations on both Bluethumb and Saatchi and remains a favourite choice amongst top interior designers across the world. Rebecca also partners with select vendors such as Tacit Collective in Canada and United Interiors in Australia and the US. Rebecca is currently open for commissions and collaborations, as she continues to sell her bold abstract work to collectors across the world.
