Hi! Im Jen the owner/ Designer and maker at Jen Hough Designs. I started in jewelry over 20 years ago as a repair and appraisal specialist for high end jewelry stores. nearly 7 years go my son was born unwell and i needed to move to be closer to his doctors. While in the hospital I made the decision to start my own company, and here we are! I am a goldsmith and gemologist focused on sustainable fashion, my work is streamline using 100% recycled solid 14k gold or 14k gold fill with ethically sourced stones such as raw emerald, diamond and ruby. Each piece is handmade by me in my tiny studio in Madison Wisconsin I combine amazingly unique and ethically sourced stones with recycled metals to create pieces that can be worn for a lifetime. I use traditional goldsmith if techniques of fabrication using torch and hammer, occasionally casting to create my pieces.
