About Gezellig Cookies LLC

My Dutch grandparents were farmers that immigrated to Canada in the 1950's when my Dad was young. We grew up with fresh picked vegetables and fruit, and a lot of home cooking. My Oma (Grandmother) made everything from scratch including some of the best canned cherries, raisin bread and cookies you could ever eat. It's because of my Oma and her homemade cookies that we started Gezellig Cookies. Our goal at Gezellig Cookies is to bake the very best stroopwafels, or caramel filled wafel cookies, that we can right here in Central Florida. We make a traditional small batch stroop, or caramel, and use the best quality ingredients that we can, like: organic fair trade sugar and local free range eggs. We also make non-traditional variations that you would not typically see, such as our Vegan Original and fun offerings like Maple and Key Lime. (You want to try the Key Lime...trust us on this one.) We don't use ingredients like palm oil or high fructose corn syrup. The word "Gezellig" (huh-Zell-ick) refers to the warm and fuzzy feeling you get when you enjoy great food in a great atmosphere with people you love.
