LOSCHY (lo-she) is a line of inventive crowns and hand-stitched costume jewelry made by designer Melissa Loschy in Los Angeles, CA. CROWN INFO: Each crown is handcrafted using a variety of elements including raw crystals, eucalyptus bark, wood, and more. Crowns are made on either a standard base with a 1” band that wraps around 3/4 of the head, or a thin and flexible metal headband. JEWELRY INFO: All jewelry is divided into different collections that are inspired by a sense of adventure. Each collection is created using photographs taken while exploring cities near and far. The images are digitally manipulated and then transformed into truly unique jewelry using an inventive process that includes hand-sewing, embroidery as well as traditional jewelry-making and metalsmithing techniques. Technique: Shear fabric stitched over water-resistant photo paper, embellished with embroidery and finished with sheet metal and vinyl back or pendant base. Materials: All chain/findings are brass metal unless otherwise noted. Care: While graphics are water resistant, If it gets wet, pat dry with a paper towel.Read their story
