About Sam's Pickle House

Sam's Pickle House has been a grass roots pickle story more than 15 years in the making. While attending the Culinary Academy at Le Cordon Bleu in Austin TX, Sam began selling gourmet cold pickles at a lone Farmers Market booth. What started as a crazed cult pickled following on weekends, quickly grew statewide and after Winning 7 National Food Awards, the Pickle House project had turned into a full scale operation serving Whole Foods Market, and the finest restaurants in Austin. In 2018, Sam added delicious Sauces and Spices to his offerings and then opened a brick and mortar Pickle-Themed restaurant and retail shop called The Pickle House. Things thrived until the Covid 19 pandemic unfortunately put an abrupt end to the restaurant and pickle operation. Down, but certainly not out, Sam returned to his hometown in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia to run the Culinary Program at Amherst County High School. Due to increasing demand, Sam’s Pickle House has reemerged offering our Premium Pickle Sauces with more pickle themed products to come in the near future. Sam’s Pickle House’s small team lovingly makes every batch by hand using only the best possible natural ingredients.
