About Astral Eye

In 2014, Astral Eye came to be by Kara (she/her) and Michael (He/they) as Meyechael Tattoo, a dynamic duo each with their unique talents and spiritual connections and together as Cunning Folk. What began as a collection of ritual artworks and a passion for tattoos, sculpting, and creating has transitioned into sharing of their esoteric practices and are the Shopkeeps of Raven's Veil in Vancouver, Canada. Kara, an animist witch, Psychopomp, herbalism student, diviner, and creator, infuses her craft with her own magical experiences, while Michael's artistic journey is deeply intertwined with his animistic way of life, while blending his love of folklore into his works. Rooted in traditional witchcraft, spirit work, and ancestral practices, Kara and Michael's creations are a gateway to a world of folklore, ancestral research, animation, dreams, nature, and the beauty of the human form. With over 20+ years of experience in witchcraft, they seek to understand and appreciate diverse cultures and beliefs, while honouring the spirits of the land and expressing gratitude for their presence.
