In 2019 a very tired sleepless first-time mama took a selfie and thought “I look like a zombie, a Zombie Mama”… Fast forward to 2020 amid a pandemic and a global lockdown, Nydia López-Brugueras (she/her) a creative Latina, started making designs inspired by motherhood & Feminism. It quickly exploded into the plethora of things that she is passionate about that activate her imagination. She enjoys creating funny, quirky, introspective art about her views on mental health, neurodiversity, 420 self-care, religious satire and sex positivism, feminism, capitalism, Puerto Rican culture and the list goes on… In pursuits of quitting her day job, she arose from her coffin and ZombieMamaPress was born. She turned her art into stickers; because who doesn’t love stickers? Since then, ZombieMamaPress has shipped to all 50 states, PR, USVI and Canada.
