When I'm at craft shows, people who don’t know me generally think my name is Margie, but Milton and Margie are my cats. Milton and Margie’s Soy Wax Candles was born in a small apartment in Minneapolis in the mid 2000s. I set out to make soy candles in a few containers I had lying around my place, and candle-making soon turned into an obsession. I continued making them in a collection of assorted recycled and repurposed containers, which further fueled my passion for thrifting. I've long been a consumer and admirer of the handmade movement, and I'm glad that I can be part of and further the growing community that values shopping local.
