About Mt. Moriah Farms

Mt. Moriah Farms started as my family farm in 2009. My father is the one who gave us the name. My mother has a very creative spirit and she taught me not to be intimidated by learning new things. When I asked her if she would help me make my very first batch of soap, she was totally on board! I was 15 at the time. My grandmother has a beautiful love for animals. Growing up she truly cultivated that love in me for them as well! She worked for several rescue shelters and also had a large assortment of animals herself. I come from a big family, the second of seven children (whom, we are all blessed to be adopted). The area where we grew up was largely surrounded by older farmers. In 2009 my parents got the first call for an orphaned goat kid. The farmers knew that we all were homeschooled and figured we would have the time to dedicate to bottle feeding. The years following we got many more phone calls from our surrounding neighbors and thus our goat herd was started! I loved being out with the herd, and quickly grew the name "Goat Girl". In 2021 my parents retired from the farm life and handed the farm name over to me. That same year I got married and we now have three boys! My husband is a professional and volunteer firefighter and also grew up on a farm himself. Together we are excited to share our natural products with the world!
