It is the name of the mandarin that inspires the idea of the MANNAMARU naming, the result of the union of the two Sicilian words “MANNA” - like manna-rinu, which stands for Mandarin - and “AMARU” - bitter -. The fusion of the two words, embellished by the authenticity of the Sicilian dialect, is intertwined with the further phonic game created by a replacement of vowels, the last A that becomes U, transforming the denomination original in the expression MANNAMURU (m'annamuru) term that in Italian is translated into M'INDATING. This expression connotes the purpose to which this product aspires, such as to overwhelm those who try it to the point of FALLING IN LOVE WITH IT; and it is always from here that the idea of recalling the shape of a human heart derives. through the MANNAMARU label. A project entirely conceived by two young Sicilians who, driven by the love for their land, give life to this bitter that stands out for its uniqueness and originality and to pay homage to Sicily with its citrus fruit with the most refined scent, MANDARIN. Its creators dedicate this project to their grandparents, who handed down to them the love for their origins and the inexhaustible desire to enhance a land of countless facets. “We wanted to create a product that spoke Sicilian, and that's why we relied on our local suppliers, making sure to give space to the companies operating in our territory and to enhance the Sicilian economy”
