Barkworth Reeve is the country lifestyle accessories brand which blends practicality with classic country style. Designed at our kitchen table in historic Harrogate in North Yorkshire, Barkworth Reeve is a family run british accessories brand who are passionate about quality craftsmanship and serving our customers desire for functionality and enduring style, in the great outdoors. We are driven by the belief that quality, considered thoughtful design and practicality are non negotiables which all products should should have as standard. We are the opposite of fast fashion; our products are lovingly made by traditional artisan craftsman using leather from Leather Working Group Tanneries. At the heart of the brand is our luxury leather dog bag, which came about after Bertie (the miniature Dachshund ) joined the family. The addition of Bertie was a great excuse to treat myself to a gorgeous new dog bag, except I couldn’t find one anywhere that I liked. So, after 20 years designing handbags and accessories for lifestyle brands (I’ve spent the last 9yrs heading up the Accessories team at Joules), I decided to create my own, the bag and the range you see here. The why is simple. I’m passionate about about complimenting and improving customers life, its about making life easier (even if only in a small way) for every other woman who juggle children, grand children, not forgetting the dog!
