Handmade soap manufacturer based in Carlisle. Creating ethical soaps that are kind to your skin and the planet. It all began with an idea. To make simple soaps from great ingredients that are kind to our skin and free from chemical nasties. As a teen, my acne was so bad that washing my face in the shower made me cry. Over the years, I have tried eye-watering expensive face washes and prescription washes, and in the end, it was simple basic soaps made from clean ingredients that actually helped my skin relax and calm down. I wanted to take this further and so with research, I have created the “Original - Carlisle Soap Co - Collection”. A collection of 5 soaps that range from floral lavender soap bars to Activated charcoal-infused cedarwood and black pepper soap bars. All were designed and created on the same base soap that helped my skin years ago.
