About Giverly of Dunbar Greeting Cards

Christmas dates 2025 Last date to order for delivery before Christmas is 26th November. No orders will be processed 19th December - 5th January. Giverly designs are created from hand-drawn, digital illustrations made by me (Jenny Lyus). I live with a sea-view of the Scottish coast and much of my inspiration comes from wildlife, British folklore and my hardy tropical garden. Some of my patterns and greetings cards are rooted in the species of a particular place, the Great British Cottagecore Off collection is species in specific Sites of Scientific Interest in July. I also enjoy juxtaposing unexpected combinations such as Scottish coastal birds with tropical plants. In response to this nature based inspiration, all Giverly products are made using thoughtfully sourced materials. Giverly is working hard on sustainable design to be low-carbon, and actively working towards a plastic-free approach as a top priority. Greeting cards are made from FSC mix card, with recycled Kraft envelopes and grouped with paper belly bands instead of plastic sleeves. I’m disabled and designing greeting cards and repeat patterns is an accessible way to work from home. FAQs: What size are the greeting cards? Each greeting card measures 150 × 150 mm square. Are the cards blank inside? Yes, blank for personal messages unless inside text is requested (usually 5p extra per card). Are envelopes included? Yes, each card includes a 155 × 155 mm 115 gsm Eco Kraft envelope, nested inside the fold. Read their story
