S HE is a Collection of Architectural Amulet Jewellery Handcrafted in Morocco Che Dobbins is the designer and the mind behind S HE. Originally from Los Angeles, Che found herself living quite the nomadic narrative putting down roots in Portland-Oregon, New Zealand, Australia and Morocco. Che is currently living in the old charming city of Marrakech defining the environment in which all of her creative ideas stem from and marks the birthplace of her jewelry brand. Her creative studio is also based in Morocco. Daily life in North Africa has creatively influenced most of her unique collections due to all of the beauty embedded within the aged architecture, landscape and culture. Each collection is designed for both the masculine and feminine. The creative vision is to create magical pieces for all genders that allows one to feel regal when worn and to design a personal amulet for the wearer. The identity of our creative vision is also heavily inspired by archives of esoteric stories, early anthropology, ancient landscapes and geometric forms found amongst dated architecture. It is an important part of the brand to embrace old traditions of jewelry making. Each collection is produced in collaboration with a local silversmith and produced by hand using quality silver sourced in Southern Morocco, using traditional methods used to produce traditional Moroccan jewelry and the casting process, an old method utilized when producing silver jewelry.Read their story
