About loop collection

Loop Collection was founded in 2010 by two friends & knit designers from Brooklyn NY. Our collection is inspired by vintage looks and quality, when well made and well worn garments were the rule and not the exception. We put a lot of love and care into creating cool clothes for little people. Our products are made in the U.S.A. We work with local manufacturers. All of our materials, from our yarn to our sustainably harvested wood buttons, to our packaging and labels, are responsibly and domestically manufactured. By making the decision to manufacture domestically, we are helping to strengthen our economy. We knit with recycled cotton, which eliminates harsh chemical dyeing processes, saves water, reduces land use for crops and in turn the need for fertilizers and pesticides. This process naturally results in a reduction of incinerator and landfill use, by reprocessing pre-consumer textile waste. The buttons we use are made of wood harvested from trees in Maine. The company adheres to the strict guidelines set by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative, which protects water quality and wildlife habitats. Our packaging and labels are printed on recycled paper using soy and vegetable based inks. Read their story
