About Champagne Th. Petit

We are located in the heart of the village of Ambonnay classified as Grand Cru. The Ambonnay vineyard faces south and south-east on the slopes of the mountains of Reims, nicknamed “the Côte des Noirs “for its grape variety Pinot Noir. The house exploits more than 6 ha of vines, most of which are Pinot Noir.The company has been run for more than 4 generations, starting with Alexandre PETIT, Théophile PETIT, André PETIT (being one of the founding fathers in 1960 of the village cooperative) and currently Bénédicte Bérard-Meuret (her niece) .At present, her husband, Cédric Meuret, works on the farm. For our production, we use HVE (high environmental value) and VDC (sustainable viticulture in champagne) techniques. Our vineyard is always looking for the best techniques to protect our soils with their biodiversity. We produce Champagnes that bring pleasure and emotion.
