ABOUT ARTORIAL Artorial was established by Jo Sampson and Jenny Crosbie. Despite there being an overwhelming abundance of art in the marketplace, both found it difficult to source pieces that matched their individual tastes. Galvanised by the ambition to offer an elevated level of design without an imposed aesthetic, they began creating art collections with a fresh attitude; relevant to modern interiors, responsive to current lifestyle themes, thoughtfully scaled in standard sizes and offered at accessible prices. MEET THE FOUNDERS Jo has over 25 years’ experience working in the design industry. Her portfolio spans high-end residential projects, commercial interiors for the world’s most prestigious hospitality brands, furniture, lighting, interior accessories and art. As a named designer for luxury crystal brand Waterford, her collections have been sold globally in eminent stores such as Harrods, Selfridges, Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdales. After training in textile design, Jenny moved to New Zealand where she was assistant designer at the hugely influential fashion brand Karen Walker, a label loved by tastemakers with a formidable number of celebrity fans. Following this she freelanced as a fashion stylist before making a move over to interior design. The union of these two designers gives Artorial its unique hybrid aesthetic; Interiors meets Fashion.
