About Pure Hart Studio

Pure Hart Studio was founded by McKenzie & Elliott Eddy-Smith. We are both lifelong artists — musicians, designers, lyricists, and writers. We met in Charleston, SC in 2014 and quickly began collaborating on community projects, utilizing art and music in order to advocate for social change. We founded Headspace Murals in 2017, and have created nearly 50 large scale murals together throughout the USA. Our designs are all created in our working studio and boutique shop in Woodstock, NY. They come to us in dreams and walks in nature. We approach everything we do with a heart-centered intention, moving from empathy and intuition in order to find connection – even in a retail setting. The name also has a layered meaning, as “hart” is a word for a mythological deer who could pass between the spiritual and material planes. We believe that these elements – a genuine, open heart, and a deep relationship with nature – are a medicine that all of us need. Our career as muralists has taught us how to use thoughtful color and shape to inspire and transport customers. Our products are carefully designed to stand out on the shelf and move people on an emotional level. The messages on our products go beyond a standard greeting or catchy brand voice. As lifelong lyricists and writers, we find words and mantras that resonate on an intuitive level and soothe the soul.Read their story
