About Jo Stafford

I’m an illustrator and printmaker based in Norwich. I am a bit of a cultural magpie, collecting and hoarding all sorts of ephemera, whether its quotes, lyrics and sayings or sweet wrappers, beer labels and postcards. I take inspiration from music, film, food and nature to produce my bright, bold designs, which are heavily influenced by my love of Typography and Letterpress. I screen print all my work by hand in my studio in Norwich. I love getting inky and the tactile results you get from screen printing. I spend most of my time screen printing, half the time things that I have designed myself, the other half things that other talented people have designed. I am the Director of Well Nice Prints an independent, eco-friendly screen printing studio based in Norwich. With a combined printing experience of over 30 years we have a prestigious list of local and national clients and strive to offer a personal and unique service to suit every need and budget.
