Farmer Bob grew up in Overland Park, Kansas. Nobody in the family had anything to do with agriculture but Farmer Bob had a calling. Originally wanting to grow traditional row crops (such as corn and soybeans), it became quickly apparent that it would not work out financially. Pursuing the original passion, the decision was made to grow popcorn as a specialty crop. Specializing within that, mushroom popcorn was the ultimate crop.Read their story
