Founded in 1916 in Takaoka, Japan, Nousaku has been produced Buddhist ritual objects, Japanese tea ceremony utensils and flower vases focusing on the beauty of the material. Nousaku now produces beautiful home goods using advanced casting techniques, expert knowledge, craftsmanship, and creativity have been passed down through generations. “KAGO” series, is the masterpiece of Nousaku, a flexible pure tin basket that gained popularity in the United States and Europe and has been selected by MoMA Design Store in New York since 2017.Read their story
