Our handmade products contribute to women empowerment by supporting their employment and education. SUSTAINABILITY At L'Autre Sac we believe it isn't necessary to choose between beauty and sustainability. Each one of our bags reflects a passion for products that are environmentally responsible and look perfectly beautiful at the same time. Our bags are made with cruelty-free and eco-friendly materials. We use alternative materials to traditional leather, that are highly durable and resistant, but don't cause the negative environmental damage of PU and other synthetic leather. Our materials are either biodegradable or synthetic materials that are 100% recyclable and free of plasticizers. We use: wood pulp from protected forests; Tyvek® paper (High-Density Polyethylene) 100% recyclable and free of plasticizers; and Piñatex® leather made from cellulose fibres extracted from pineapple leaves.Read their story
