Joiful Bee is a hair care company that provides unique hair tools designed specifically for women with textured and curly hair. Our mission is to help women establish a consistent hair routine and reach their hair goals so they can live more confidently. Joiful Bee is proud to have sold over 5000 of our signature Wash Day Kit to women with curly and textured hair across the USA. Joiful Bee is woman-owned, minority-owned, and self-funded. Before Joiful Bee, I was a 10 year YouTube veteran who had created hundreds of videos in the hair care space. Every day I would read the comments from my 100K+ subscribers learning about their hair journies, pain points when taking care of their care, and aspirations for brands in the niche. I wanted to create a business that would solve their hair struggles so I surveyed my audience then began working on Joiful Bee. Joiful Bee launched February 28, 2020 during my senior year of college and right before the world shut down for the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the odds, we sold out of our inventory every launch in 2020 and realized we were selling a product and experience the natural hair community was waiting for. Our company provided a way for many women to care for their hair when they could not reach salons.
