Coheem is a combination of the illustrator's name: Colinde and the word heem. Heme is a word that used to be used for home base or habitat. The vibrant color palette and playful shapes come directly from nature. Colinde got her inspiration from the raw nature of the Vosges in France. Where she lives 6 months a year. She looks at nature like a botanist. Every plant or animal accurately captured with colored pencil. Then, like a florist, they can be arranged into an illustration with its own story and atmosphere. Colinde's illustrations have been printed on cards, labels, prints, and stationery, among other things. Read their story
