About Blackbird Leather

Hello I’m Danielle from Blackbird Leather, I live on the Isle of Wight with my husband and 2 children. I’m picked up this skill which I discovered towards the end of 2019. I began working with leather when my husband came home from work one day and said he had been given a few bits of leather and tools from a man in the studio next to his, as he was moving away and couldn’t take it all with him. My husband has always been very creative and he gave it a go, I used to watch with great interest, so decided to try it out myself. This was the moment when something just clicked inside of me and I haven’t looked back since. It’s been a breath of fresh air to find my creative side and I have finally found my hobby that I truly love. Read their story
