Started in 2009 by Israella Kafui Mansu with US$80 in her 1 bedroom apartment kitchen at age 23 after graduating from the University of Ghana. MGL Naturals produces safe and healthy skin and hair care products for healthy hair growth and gorgeous skin, using virgin coconut oil, organic shea butter, raw cocoa butter, neem oil, castor oil, shea oil, African black soap and many more natural and organic ingredients. MGL Naturals identified high rate of unemployment as a developmental challenge, poor market for rural women to sell their premium quality natural and organic cosmetic ingredients and unhealthy beauty care products on the African cosmetics markets. MGL Naturals sources over 90% of raw materials locally from determined rural women in Ghana who are breadwinners and deliberately adopted a policy of offering sustainable on job training and employing less privileged youths.
