Bub 'n Mutha's is a Veteran owned gourmet dry rub company with a Maine attitude. Our rubs are blended with 100% natural ingredients and no preservatives. They were designed to create amazing flavors on anything that had fur, fins or feathers but our customers have been using them on everything from avocado toast to fried zucchini! The Maine attitude comes from experimenting with multiple blends of spices that can be used to create great BBQ flavor even indoors when it's 20 below and a blizzard outside. You can get fantastic tasting meals whether on a grill, in a smoker or in the oven, broiler, fryer, and on the stovetop in a pan. Our biggest difference between off the shelf seasonings comes down to one word - SALT. Our competition uses up to 1/3 of the bottle filled with salt. To put that into perspective, a 1/3 filled bottle of salt weighs exactly the same as a full bottle of our spice blend. We believe salt is for flavor, not cheap filler. In addition, we use real Maine ingredients from real Maine companies. For example, our ground mustard (in both flavors) comes from Raye's Mustard (Eastport, ME) and they are the oldest mustard company in the US. In our DownEast Dinnah Dust (pronounced DINN-uh), the maple crystals come from Maine Maple in Madison, ME and the freshground espresso, from Coffee Hound in Brewer, ME. Our "Honey 'n Heat," was chosed as Best Dry Rub at the 2020 International Flavor Awards and both rubs were gifts on the TV show, "BEAT BOBBY FLAY."
