In 2020 at the height of Covid, my husband’s employer closed their offices and sent their employees to work from home. At that same time, the school I was teaching at had gone completely virtual. Additionally, many of the daycares in our area also shut down, so we quickly had to find ways to keep our toddler daughter occupied while we were getting some work done. We knew that at her young age, too much screen time was detrimental, so I turned to Pinterest for some toddler learning ideas (this area wasn’t my area of scholastic expertise yet!) and learned about the benefits of sensory play. We started making playdough at home and well, the rest is history. Our kits specialize in inspiring children to learn through play with playdough! We make our own playdough that is (not delicious, but technically edible!) and we pair it with accessories that have been meticulously chosen to deliver a themed sensory based learning experience. Sensory play is crucial for children to develop fine motor, creativity, critical thinking skills, and so much more.
