About us About 6 years ago, our founder, Bas van der Lugt, was in town looking for unique lace-up shoes. Bas: "The shoes I could find were very boring and old-fashioned. Moreover, these shoes easily cost hundreds of euros. In my opinion, these shoes should be a lot more modern and more affordable." Because.. why are neat lace-up shoes always so ridiculously expensive and/or boring? We tried to find an answer to that question. This is the reason Lureaux was created and we would like to design special and surprising shoes at friendly prices
