About beachBRELLA®

My name is Shelley and I'm a local Laguna Beach mom. I wanted a stylish beach umbrella so I made myself a hand sewn beach umbrella with fringe because I couldn’t find anything cute or stylish on the market. After getting numerous compliments on the beach, I decided to create beachBRELLA®! Setting out to make the “perfect” beach umbrella, I discovered that being lightweight was a big advantage in the winds; mine stayed up when the heavier ones flew across the beaches of Laguna. The lightweight also made it easy to carry so if your hands are full with kids etc. the umbrella just swings over a shoulder in the cool looking denim bag that has a safe place for your keys, cell phone and sunscreen. It was very important for them to be 100% UV protection. I wasn't going to compromise on that. I also created a sand anchor bag that can be used on those windy days. So you can still be protected during a breezier day. My favorite part is creating the patterns. I love creating designs that I think the beach goer will LOVE. Beach days are to have fun.. so a fun fringy brella is key!Read their story
