Cities were the initial push for me to start painting. Riding back and forth from Wisconsin to Michigan, I saw the energy that exuded from Chicago. The stark difference between urban areas and rural areas was an inspiration. The ride would allow me to see lots of lines, colors, and shapes in a distorted perspective. With these principles in mind, it became the driving force of the style. An undetermined story for the viewer to interact with and create their own relationship is the goal.
