About Urquhart Glass

Welcome to Urquhart Glass, the digital home to my glass art workshop and store. My name is Mairi Urquhart and I live and work in Perthshire in Scotland producing hand-crafted award-winning glass pieces for both home and outdoors. I have been working with glass for a number of years now, it is my favourite medium to use, and my workshop in Comrie in Perthshire is where the magic happens. I make unique pieces that I put on to this website to sell and each one is a little different. I also create bespoke pieces for clients both large and small. Glass is the perfect medium for me to express my love of colour and light, using both traditional and experimental techniques — I am continually influenced by my surroundings in the Perthshire countryside and the Scottish Highlands and Islands.
