Studio Black was created with a simple mission: to make the creative industry a better place to work – one cup of coffee at a time. On film sets and in studios, coffee is more than a drink; it’s the pause between takes, the reset between decisions, the moment people gather, breathe, and reconnect. We wanted to elevate that everyday ritual into something meaningful. Born from our experience working in Film & TV, we saw first-hand how long hours, pressure, and isolation can take a toll on the people who hold productions together. So we set out to change how those moments on set feel. Our coffee exists to restore energy, excite the senses, and spark the conversations that remind people they’re part of a community. Every roast we develop is crafted with intention, and every bag sold contributes to something bigger. We donate a portion of our profits to the Film and TV Charity, helping to raise awareness of the vital support available to freelancers – whether someone is ordering our beans online or grabbing a cup from one of our mobile coffee bars on set.
