JAK Organics is owned and operated by us, Jemma, Alysha and Karissa (JAK). We are 3 Australian sisters, born and raised by a mother that was well ahead of her time in the health and wellness movement. We were taught from a young age to be advocates for eating clean, caring for nature and removing chemicals from our lives at every turn. Our mum made it easy for us growing up by doing all of the hard lifting but as we embarked on motherhood ourselves we could feel the pull of convenience that crept into our lives to get through our modern-day demands, making nappy change time easier and more pleasant was one of these concessions. So, after using every wipe available on the market since 2012 we knew that something was seriously wrong when our little ones where experiencing extreme and painful nappy rash, our hands were cracked and felt like sandpaper and we were deeply concerned about the amount of landfill were contributing to using common disposable wipes. At this stage there were no compostable, bamboo options available and we knew that we had to be involved in the movement to eradicate plastic-weave wipes from the Earth. We scraped what money we could to start our endeavour and after almost 3 yers of research and development we were finally ready to release our premium, eco and essential wipes to all of us out there that just want peace of mind that we are doing the best for ourselves, our family and our planet.
