About Mothú Jewellery

Award winning Designer Maggie McAtamney created Mothú Jewellery from her home studio in Northern Ireland, she creates unique pieces of contemporary statement jewellery using Digital Laser Craft and a mixture of modern, traditional and recycled materials. Mothú is inspired by my own Irish Heritage, I draw inspiration from ancient religious motifs, etchings in stone, symbols, patterns, textural coastlines and local landscapes in N.Ireland. I use various woods, acrylics and gold and silver plated metals. Mothú pieces are intricately etched, laser cut and hand finished, the onus is on sophisticated design. I design and produce small and large collections that are beautifully presented with strong branding and cut from the highest quality materials.Read their story
