About Dear You Paperie

Hello and welcome to Dear You Paperie! My little labour of love - a collection of handpainted stationery, designed to celebrate everything. I’m an artist based in North Yorkshire, with a lifelong love of watercolour painting and great cards. Over the years, I’ve collected stationery treasures from around the world - always drawn to cards that felt thoughtful, timeless, fun and well made. But time and again, I couldn’t quite find the ones I wanted to send: simple yet vibrant watercolours full of cakes with thick frosting, candles, bows, balloons, and stripes – so I decided to make them myself! I work with a wonderful family-run printer, and together we print on an Italian sustainable softly textured, FSC-certified stock by Fedrigoni. It holds the watercolour detail perfectly, and reflects my commitment to sustainable design. All embossing, using biodegradable recycled gold foil, is done using traditional methods too. There’s something timeless about receiving a handwritten card – a little moment of magic in the post. These cards are designed to be saved and cherished long after they’re opened and I hope you love them in your shop for your customers to enjoy, as much as I’ve loved creating them.
