Biophytum is the legacy of Monternier Perfumery, a company that was founded in the Belle Époque, in the city of Montpellier. It benefited directly from the influence of its Jardin des Plantes, the oldest in France, frequented since 1841 by a plethora of botanists, apothecaries, doctors and pharmacists from all over the world. Biophytum is the succession of three families, five generations of enthusiasts, with authentic, effective and appreciated recipes that have enabled the brand thanks to word of mouth.
