We just wanted to eat healthier foods...but were busy! Kent and Carol's son, Connor, was born 3 months premature at 1 lb. 7 oz. and spent over 3 months in intensive care fighting for his life. When their son finally came home, they focused on providing him with the absolute best nutrition. Due to the lack of nutritious options on the market, like many families, they began making their own baby food by pureeing combinations of fresh fruits and vegetables. As their son got older, it became more of a challenge to get sufficient fruits and vegetables in his diet. This led Kent to modify existing sauces until eventually, he was making his own. Kent came to realize that if they were having difficulty “sneaking” vegetables into his son, surely it was a problem for many people...so they made their own sauces.Read their story
