With a passion to pursue her dreams and passion to be different, Bobby never liked to work for someone. She started as a IT professional working alongside her husband , but the itch to be different was too compelling for her to be tied to a 9-5 job, After moving to Los Angeles in 2010, She decided that it was time to realize her dreams. She started a Fusion restaurant which was a super hit form the get go. Fueling the growth was the creativity of the menu focussed on healthy choices. Tandoori shrim burrito laced with healthy vegitables instead of rice and beans was a hot faviorite of the people working out in the nearby gym. After have a successful run, she sold the restuarant and purchased a small pistachio farm as an investment. After learning the entire process from planting, and based on a passing conversation by one of the processor, the birth of Sanmac foods took place in 2017. Initially the family started with selling pistachios in the local farmer's market and as business grew, they expanded into serious flavoring of tree nuts and wholeselling of their products on various e commerce sites. The business has not only expanded to local stores here in the US , but internationally to Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Asia. Some of the popular flavored nuts include Spicy Sriracha, Tandoori, Tikka Masala, Habanero and the most popular Parmesan Garlic. Recently a vegan choice was added to the product line. The company is now expanding into flavoring other tree nuts as well.
