A decade in architecture taught me to observe the way structures play with light and shadow, people and scale. I also learned that most places go without the savoring they deserve. Rooted in my training as an architect, my paintings are about slowing down, observing a space for hours, searching for the details that make it what it is. Each place has its own meaning and story. I let the place speak for itself by capturing precise lines through the loose lens of watercolor. In each piece, I capture something true about the moment.
