Abahna was established in London 20 years ago by husband and wife founders, Claire and Ed Croft, who were inspired by the fragrant ceremonies of the Balinese spas that they visited on their honeymoon. “The idea that something as everyday as a bath or shower could be elevated to an indulgent ritual really captured my imagination,” says Claire. “And I loved the fact that, because of the way that our sense of smell is so closely bound up with memory and emotion, just by adding a few drops of an oil, or some salts, to my bath back at home, I could immediately be transported halfway round the world.” Since then Abahna, a name which pays homage to ancient bathing rituals from all corners of the globe, has sought to create elegantly designed, luxurious bathing & home scenting products that will take you on a fragrant journey, perhaps to somewhere you’ve been and loved, or maybe to somewhere you’ve always dreamed of visiting. Our 95-98% naturally derived bath foams, body washes, body lotions, and creams are enriched with ingredients such as chamomile, ginseng, aloe vera, green tea and cocoa & shea butters to soothe and nourish the skin.
