About NeuLuna

Sean M. Anderson, Founder of Aqua Regenerative Therapies and Formulator for NeuLuna®, extensively studied regenerative medicine and biomaterials to achieve his Ph.D. in Biomolecular Engineering from UCLA in 2011. After witnessing his father’s challenge with diabetes, diabetic neuropathy, and his subsequent inability to walk, Dr. Anderson was inspired to dedicate his knowledge and research to heal the nerve damage that results when high blood sugar damages the nerves of the body. Dr. Anderson’s hope is to share his personal experience and eradicate the effects of this far-reaching disease that affects over one hundred million people in the United States and over four hundred million worldwide. To that aim, Dr. Anderson launched a campaign to discover how to facilitate regrowth of nerves and alleviate this painful, debilitating condition. The catalyst to launch NeuLuna®, a product of Aqua Regenerative Therapies, was born when Dr. Anderson decided to apply his vast expertise in biology towards developing an advanced skin care product. His mission is to dedicate NeuLuna® proceeds to support his biomedical research and other opportunities within the regenerative medical therapy field. Observing the multitude of ineffective skin care products on the market, Dr. Anderson harnessed his scientific knowledge to create a proprietary delivery method for skin care actives that would truly improve the health and quality of the skin.Read their story
