I started Sahara Sage with two dreams in mind; own a successful business and save up for a Jeep. Now my goal is to provide each and every one of the women in this world with a high quality, hand made scrunchie. There are too many scrunchies being dumped in waste piles and women wasting money on scrunchies that will only last them a few months before having to buy more. This is not right economically or morally. Scrunchies were things I always loved and thought, why not start an Etsy shop! So, in July of 2020, while in quarantine, I started using my mom's old Singer sewing machine and old fabric and made my first scrunchie. I now have made over 1000 scrunchies and have taken photos, designed my banner and logo, made product descriptions, and much more.
