In 2015, I retired from the US Navy after 20 years of service. While having a difficult time adjusting to life outside the military I decided to follow my dreams and start making furniture for a living. Not long after, my wife and I rescued Bebe, a sweet terrier mix from a local animal shelter. While searching online, I could not find any dog feeders that fit the decor of our home. So, I decided to shrink down the full-size dining tables I'd been making and turn them into elevated dog feeders. THE START OF BILL'S CUSTOM BUILDS The dream I had of working with my hands is now a full-scale business. I take pride in seeing and hearing customers reactions to their new furniture. Being able to create custom items that meet the needs of each customer allows me to creatively use my passion, while making sure their ideas come to life. Making people happy is one of the many reasons I find such enjoyment in woodworking. I love creating unique pieces that are not available anywhere else. Please share your experiences with my work.
