Eclectic Chique is the award winning conscious artisanal accessories & resort wear brand sustainably sourced and produced in Africa. Eclectic Chique offers the perfect pairing of modern designs with classic African heritage, inspired by a love of the arts. Vibrant colours, traditional prints and rich embellishments help to create truly unique pieces for your outfit or home, all handcrafted by artisans in Nigeria. We work very closely with ethical fabric suppliers within the local community, and continually endeavours to use safe dyes and minimise waste in the dying process, as well as reduce our carbon footprint within manufacturing and distribution. The brand was founded by Teni Majekodunmi in 2012, to raise the bar for African products internationally, with a clear focus on developing the craft industry in Nigeria, and empowering women whilst doing so. Our artisans are the heart of Eclectic Chique, as well as a strict minimum wage policy, we have strategically located our manufacturing headquarters to be within a walking distance for many of our artisans, minimising staff expenses and also helping to reduce carbon emissions from transport. We particularly love to source from female owned suppliers, and pride ourselves on 95% of raw materials being from the local area, helping to boost our economy and continue to support the community through the creation of beautiful products that celebrate our heritage.
