I've always had a pencil in my hand. As a child, I drew shoes, then fashion looks, then landscapes. Art was my first language. Life took an unexpected turn when I became a professional volleyball player, trading illustrations for tactical diagrams on the court. Later, I channeled that creative energy into communication and marketing, where design became part of my professional world. But it was my nieces who brought me back to what I loved most. Their bedtime stories needed pictures, their giggles needed characters, their rooms needed magic. That's how Kago Studio was born, in Madrid, where the sun soaked streets and vibrant energy inspire every colorful, joyful illustration I create. Today, from my studio, I design art prints that blend the tenderness of those bedtime moments with contemporary style.
