About Déjà Vu Esoterica

Déjà Vu is a brick and mortar store nestled in the heart of Southtown in San Antonio, TX. Our focus is on furnishing the most polished essentials and select accoutrements for occultists. We cater to the discerning whims of the esoteric bohemian, especially focusing on stylish comforts and beautification for the ritual space as well as the home. We launched our own product line in the spring of 2025 and we've seen an incredible response to our room sprays & anointing oils. Our mission with Déjà Vu is to support the needs of the community and be a place to share knowledge, seek education and guidance, and feel camaraderie with fellow magickal practitioners. We are much more than a magic shop. We want to help support everyone seeking their own path into hidden knowledge and divine secrets. Déjà Vu is owned by Gem and Glenn Hotvet. Gem has been hanging out in the occult section of the book store for 20+ years. Déjà Vu Esoterica is an outpouring of a life long interest in mythology, symbolism, witchcraft, and all things esoteric. This love letter to the craft and the Goddess is inspired by her depth of love for tarot and lenormand, obsession with art and myth, the gifts daily practice has brought forth, and and unquenchable thirst to learn more.Read their story
